The Happy Hands Society is all about neighbors caring for neighbors.
The way we do this is simple: A small group of friends and neighbors occasionally gathers to relax, enjoy each other's company, and do something mindlessly fun with our hands. We then donate the products of our meetings --bright, cozy shawls and other handmade items-- to local Hospice patients and others in need. Whether knitting, crocheting, weaving, sewing, embroidering or otherwise, we pour the joy of good company and the love of friends into every item we make. So, we know the works of our hands will help bring some measure of comfort to those who may be in need.
